These terms apply to Dark Asylum BOT, an independently operated Discord bot. They supplement, and do not replace, Discord's rules and the rules of any server that uses the bot.
01 Agreement & scope
By using or interacting with Dark Asylum BOT (the “Bot”), you agree to these Terms of Service to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, do not use the Bot's commands or optional features. Where the Bot operates within a Discord server, its authorized administrators decide whether to enable or remove it.
“We,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operators of Dark Asylum BOT. These terms apply only to the Bot and its associated web administration features, not to Discord, RuneScape, or other external services.
02 Access & eligibility
You must comply with Discord's Terms of Service, its Community Guidelines, applicable laws, and the rules of the Discord server in which you interact with the Bot. You must satisfy the age and account requirements of the services you use.
Access to certain commands, dashboards, roles, reports, and administrative tools may be restricted to authorized server members or staff. You may not impersonate an administrator or use someone else's account or permissions.
03 Bot features
Depending on what is developed and enabled, the Bot may provide community-management and clan features such as role management, moderation, support tickets, activity or leveling systems, event participation, RuneScape character linking, publicly available game statistics, and skill-XP competitions.
Features, eligibility rules, scoring methods, commands, and availability may change. A listed feature is not a promise that it is already launched, continuously available, or enabled for your server.
04 Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Bot to harass, threaten, defraud, spam, or violate the rights or privacy of others.
- Attempt unauthorized access to commands, linked accounts, staff functions, stored information, or the administration dashboard.
- Exploit bugs, bypass limits, manipulate contest or leaderboard results, or abuse automated interactions.
- Submit malware, stolen credentials, access tokens, passwords, or information you are not authorized to provide.
- Use the Bot in a way that violates Discord, RuneScape, or applicable third-party rules.
Report suspected vulnerabilities responsibly to the Bot's administrators rather than exploiting them.
05 Server administration
Authorized server administrators may configure Bot features, permissions, moderation workflows, records, and eligible competitions. Moderation decisions and server membership decisions are governed by the server's rules and administrators.
The Bot may create records of commands, moderation actions, tickets, competition entries, and other activity when those functions are enabled. Authorized staff may review relevant records in the course of administering the server. See the Privacy Policy for more information.
06 Third-party services
The Bot may interact with Discord APIs and, when available and configured, RuneScape-related data sources such as official Hiscores or other permitted public sources. Information retrieved from third parties may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate.
Dark Asylum BOT is an independent project and is not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with Discord Inc., Jagex Ltd., or RuneScape. Discord, RuneScape, and related names belong to their respective owners.
07 Content & information
You are responsible for content and information you submit through the Bot. Do not post private information about other people or share sensitive credentials. Server administrators may configure logging, transcripts, archived materials, and retention settings associated with enabled features.
Our handling of data, including account links, usage records, logs, retention, and deletion requests, is described in the Privacy Policy.
08 Availability
The Bot may be modified, maintained, limited, or temporarily unavailable without advance notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, perfect accuracy of external game data, particular contest results, or permanent availability of any feature.
09 Suspension & changes
Access may be limited or removed when necessary to protect the Bot, respond to misuse, comply with law, or enforce applicable server rules. A server administrator may also remove the Bot from their server.
We may update these terms as the Bot evolves. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect changes. Continued use after revised terms become effective indicates acceptance to the extent allowed by law.
10 Disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Bot is made available on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of uninterrupted service or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
11 Contact
For questions about the Bot, these terms, or a server-specific action, contact the Dark Asylum administration team through the Discord server in which you use the Bot. For requests concerning personal information, follow the process in the Privacy Policy.
